Mother's day Spring hanging decorations

Lately I have been creating these pretty Mother's Day/Easter/Spring gift hanging decorations. I chose some fabrics and made flowers from then, then decorated the rest of the wreaths using coordinating ribbons, buttons, lace, fabrics and ricrac.

Each decoration measures 20cm (8") in diameter and has a pretty coordinating bow and ribbon attached with which to hang it in your home! They are currently available from my Folksy shop here. If you have an idea of something similar that you would like please do get in touch with me.

Compass and circles abstract prints

My latest series of hand-pulled screen prints features brightly coloured circles overlaid with an image of a victorian pair of compasses from my ever useful book of victorian images.

Each one of these prints is totally unique so you won’t find another one the same!
Available from my etsy shop now, A4 at £25 and A3 at £30+p&p.

Cute little air plants

Whilst visiting the Eden Project last week I bought some super cute Airplants (Tillandsias) as I have wanted some of them for ages! You can buy them online as well, from lovetillys. I planted one in a vintage Hornsea egg cup (I had wanted to find a use for these for a while!) and one in a latte bowl from Anthropologie. Then I put some pebbles I had collected from the beach around them, super :)

New A4 Vintage Style Screen Print - Coffee Jug

I have created another Vintage Style Screen Print,  this time featuring a Hornsea Coffee pot, to match my egg cups and little jug. It is slightly different, due to the fact that I made a small error! All part of it's charm haha.

This A4 print is available to buy now from my Etsy and Folksy shops at £20 each.

New A5 Vintage Style Screen Prints

I've been working for a while on these prints and finally they are complete! I have 2 finished prints so far, a collection of 3 egg cups and a little oil or vinegar jug, both in Hornsea Heirloom pattern. I plan to add to the collection in time, with different items and patterns.

These prints are available to buy now from my Etsy and Folksy shops at £11 each.

I Know an Old Lady - Retro Children's book

Found this gem of a children's book last week on one of my many trips to village fayres. Some brilliant illustrations in it by Abner Graboff, was born in 1919, to two Russian immigrants living in New Jersey. I love his quirky pictures! The book was first published in 1961.

The Goat is looking suspicious

I love that she has a house in her tummy!

...and the horrified faces on the school bus!

Screen printed Bicycle themed cards

These are my latest screen printed creations, miniature versions of my Queen themed Bicycle screen print.
Available now from my Folksy or Etsy shops!
