Springtime Photo favourites

Just thought I'd share a few of my favourite photos that I've taken over the last couple of weeks, at National Trust properties Lacock Abbey and Kingston Lacy gardens.

A couple of bee photos to start, lovely to see the sunshine bringing out them out to find nectar.

I love the textures in this photo of moss on the very impressive Wisteria tree trunk at NT Kingston Lacy.

Some lovely spring flower pics

And finally some gorgeous Camellia Flowers from the impressive collection at NT Kingston Lacy, They look just great at this time of year.

Recent trip to Eden Project and new camera pics

I visited the Eden Project to take part in a Botanical Painting 3 day course (will post about that soon) whilst there I took some photos with my newly acquired camera, Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II. It was an ideal place to test it out with a wealth of beautiful flowers and plants.

My latest little screen print project, a cute Mother's Day card, drawn and designed by me. Available for UK mother's day on March 6th in my Etsy shop.

Mother's day Spring hanging decorations

Lately I have been creating these pretty Mother's Day/Easter/Spring gift hanging decorations. I chose some fabrics and made flowers from then, then decorated the rest of the wreaths using coordinating ribbons, buttons, lace, fabrics and ricrac.

Each decoration measures 20cm (8") in diameter and has a pretty coordinating bow and ribbon attached with which to hang it in your home! They are currently available from my Folksy shop here. If you have an idea of something similar that you would like please do get in touch with me.
