One of my recent projects has been this stool, which I'm going to use in my screen printing workshop!
I
acquired a sad old stool and removed the seat area and took the old
fabric off it. I rubbed down the frame and painted it with primer. Next I
painted it with two layers of lime green emulsion paint. I may yet
lacquer it / varnish it if the paint isn't sturdy enough. I bought some
new foam for the seat and re-covered it in some lovely green fabric with
squirrels on! Quite pleased with the result although perhaps I should
have used a slightly thinner seat pad...
