I found a card that I'd designed a while ago for my brother's birthday, and decided it would make a rather nice and simple screen printed birthday card, with two colours.
I made the stencil out of acetate this time instead of sticky vinyl which worked quite well except when it came to the text, which was a bit of a nightmare! also because it was quite a hot day yesterday the ink was drying up rather too quickly! so the cards did not quite turn out as well as I had hoped but I think they have a sort of rustic charm!
I have one listed now on my
Welaughindoors Folksy shop and will list more if they prove popular.
In the meantime I must try to invest in an exposure unit so that I no longer have to use stencils!
